BRILLIANCE

A diamond's 'brilliance' describes the white light reflected back. This is determined by the number and placement of the facets in the stone.

DISPERSION

Dispersion happens when light enters any dense object! The light separates into a stunning rainbow of colors refracted through the diamond from the light.

SCINTILLATION

Simply put, scintillation is the sparkle! While in motion, the bright sparkles of light and rainbow colors are flash and fire scintillation! The surface sparkle of a diamond is a third type of diamond light return.
